Frequently Asked Questions

SCHEDULE & BOOKING.

Where can I see the schedule for classes?

You will see the available classes via BokaDirekt. Click HERE. Then pick the type of class you might be interested in. Clicking on “Boka” will take you to the schedule, showing you available times for the chosen class.

How to book a session?

THIS IS A QUESTION WITH TWO ANSWERS.

A1: BOOKING A SINGLE CLASS:

This is a good idea if you are just trying my classes out and do not want to commit to more than one occasion.

  1. Go to my BOOKING SITE.

  2. Pick the class/service you wish to come to.

  3. By clicking “Boka”, you get access to a weekly calendar with open time slots.

  4. Click on the time that suits you best.

  5. Follow instructions for booking in the system. It will be easier for you to do regular bookings when you have an account with BokaDirekt.

A2: BOOKING FOR MULTIPLE CLASSES:

There are a few benefits on thinking ahead and booking several sessions at in advance. a) you can save some money, b) you can make sure that you always have a fixed time for working out, or having a priority spot in a group class, c) you are committing to a steady routine that helps you achieve your fitness goals.

  1. If you are interested in a specific group session you wish to attend each week, first check in the schedule of that class (BOOKING SITE) whether there are available spots for booking. (PS! Check the previous steps for “single class booking” to see the weekly calendar).

  2. Then go to VALUE CARDS (“present kort/ värdekort”), and purchase whether 2-month course pass (gives you access to 8 group sessions) or 6-month course pass (access to 24 group sessions).

  3. After that, you will receive a code from BokaDirekt on your email.

  4. If you want to ensure a spot for yourself in that class you were looking at, I would recommend starting booking in for the weeks you wish to attend immediately as I only have 4-5 people attending my groups. So, the likelihood of class getting fully booked is a little higher than in some other places.

  5. To book into the class, pick that class in the list.

  6. By clicking “Boka”, you get access to a weekly calendar with open time slots.

  7. Click on the time that suits you best.

  8. Follow instructions for booking in the system. It will be easier for you to do regular bookings when you have an account with BokaDirekt. Instead of entering your payment details, insert the code of the Value Card you received from BokaDirekt to use the amount to cover your booking.

  9. Unfortunately you must repeat the process of going back to the class - picking a suitable time for another week - entering the Value Card code several times over if you wish to book for more than 1 occasion.

BRINGING THE BABY ALONG TO CLASS.

Can I bring my baby to the class?

You are able to bring your babies along for private, semi-private sessions as well as postpartum group sessions.

Can I access the studio with a baby stroller?

The studio can not be accessed with a baby stroller. You can bring your baby along in a stroller if you are willing to lock it outside. Otherwise, I really recommend bringing the baby in a baby carrier (such as wraps or slings).

Do I need anything for the baby?

You can bring something soft for them to lie on and some entertainment to keep them a little busy so that you can use your workout time more effectively. I have one Babybjörn Babysitter where they can sit comfortably in. So, if you attend a group class, come a little earlier to make sure you can use the chair.

My baby is fussy - I am afraid I will not able to get any exercise in the class.
Is it worth it for me to join it then?

You know your child best.

But my recommendation is to try your best to prioritise taking care of yourself as best as you can. This means, that you might need to build or adjust a routine with your baby around the time that you want to come to class. And that can take some trial and error. The important thing is to stay patient and consistent.

Postnatal Pilates classes have only new mothers attending. You do not have to worry about your baby making noise, crying, communicating…

When your baby needs attention and cries, you can attend to them whenever needed. They are little humans and they have a lot to learn, everything is new for them. For example, they are used to getting attention all the time and not used to you doing something else while they are present for a prolonged duration, hearing my voice is new, being in this new setting with a different intensity in the room than they might be used to, the smells, sounds and whatever new they are experiencing in that situation.

In many cases, the babies get used to the new routine and setting after a few times. But we all have good and bad days. What you can do to ensure a happy baby is to make sure they have their bellies full, that they have had or are having a nap and bringing toys for them. Then take it as it comes and see if it works for you two.

You never need to apologise for your baby needing you. Sometimes, you have nothing else to do than to sit out a few exercises cause your baby needs soothing or to be fed. That is okay, we also learn by observing others.
